About Frank Van Hoornweder.

Having obtained a double Civil Engineering Degree, Frank started his career in 1993 in Fabrimetal moving to the Banking sector in 1995 where he acquired deep knowledge and expertise in many banking domains (Financial markets/asset management, Risk Management, operations, IT).

During his 10 years at Dexia Bank, and 5 years at the Royal Bank of Canada Investor Services he held several management positions and led many large projects & programs covering a wide range of topics: organizational projects, integration and M&A projects, process and IT architecture optimization, policies & governance frameworks.

His senior management positions as Chief Risk Officer and Chairman of the board at RBC Investor Services, combined with his project management skills make him quite a unique profile.

Within Initio, Frank manages the FinTech & NeoBanking business line & studies regulations such as the European Mortgage Credit Directive, PRIIPS & IDD (Insurance Distribution Directive).
